NEW BLOG - High Purity Regulator Accessories

There are many applications where choosing the correct regulator is only the first step in the gas control process.

• Do you need a controlled flow?
• Do you need to meter the flow to an approximate setting?
• Do you need to isolate and purge the regulator when changing cylinders, to eliminate air contamination?

Each of these instances requires a specific accessory to be fitted to your regulator.  Tesuco carries a range of scientific accessories and fittings that are specifically made by Gentec to match their range of scientific regulators.  These include:

• Acrylic flow meters, 3 L/min or 15 L/min to provide precise flow adjustment.
• Needle valves, for fine adjustment of flow and delivery control at the bottom end of the range.
• Diaphragm isolation and purge valves, to ensure minimum air contamination through the regulator when changing cylinders.
• Contact gauges and alarms, which can give you warning when the cylinder is running low and needs to be changed.  Digital transducer units can be programmed for a low pressure signal or a min/max pressure signal across a range.
• Outlet fittings to suit your application - various sizes of pipe compression fittings and hose barbs.
