Compressed gas cylinders contain high pressure and may be filled with many gases including Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Helium (Balloon Gas) and Hydrogen, among others. All cylinders are dangerous if left unsecured. The cylinder may be knocked over which may open the valve or snap it off, potentially releasing extremely high pressures of 20,000kPa or more.
There are many advantages when using a flashback arrestor with an inbuilt quick action coupling mechanism. Besides having all of the features of standard flashback arrestors, these models also incorporate a shut-off valve, activated when the coupling pin is removed.
Two stage regulators give a constant, precise outlet pressure, no matter what changes occur in the supply pressure system. This new side entry dual stage regulator has a two stage piston design for high inlet, high outlet pressure with a high gas flow. The high outlet pressure has a range of 0 – 4,000 kPa, with a flow rate of up to 100 m3/h.
With the growth of single tap, counter top beer systems, Tesuco has introduced a new compact single stage regulator that meets AS5034 for these installations. This compact regulator is specifically designed for small beer dispensing systems using CO2 and CO2 /N2 mixtures.
