PRODUCT FOCUS - Tesuco Welding and Cutting Kits
There are many brands of kits on the market these days and it
seems each brand contains a different combination of tips, nozzles
and other accessories. This can make it difficult not only to
choose the kit that is suitable for your application, but also to
know which brands meet the requirements of AS4839.
At Tesuco we have carefully matched all of the components
together including the tips and nozzles so they can safely be used
with any "G" sized cylinder of acetylene and not exceed the
withdrawal rate. We have done this because exceeding the
withdrawal rate from an acetylene cylinder is one of the number one
causes of flashbacks.
Our regulators have gone through exhaustive testing to ensure
they meet all of the requirements of AS 4267, making them one of
the safest on the market. As an added feature, they now
include synthetic gauge protectors to help protect the gauges from
damage.
The hoses in the kits are a premium quality cord-braided rubber
material with repairable hose end fittings. This is pivotal
to maximise safety and helps to ensure a prolonged service
life.
IBEDA regulator end and torch end flashback arrestors are
included as standard. World renowned as one of the best and
most complete range on the market, IBEDA flashback arrestors are
independently certified by BAM to meet all of the requirements of
AS 4603. The IBEDA flashback arrestor range is the only
independently certified flashback arrestor range currently
available on the Australian market.
The blowpipes, cutting attachments and other components have all
gone through a continual improvement program. Each
improvement has seen a positive impact on build quality, product
performance and/or service life. Furthermore, all
requirements of AS 4839 relating to these products have been
met.
So next time you are looking to order a welding and cutting kit
have a close look at our Tesuco kits, they really are a cut
above!
